The Reforestion Project, Digital & Video Campaign

Aveeno wanted to connect online shoppers to the brand's national 'Be An Active Natural' campaign. With a mission of connecting to environmental concerns and working with writers, social strategists, and accounts team, we developed a partnership concept with Arbor Day Foundation, for an exclusive online documentary and micro-site about reforestation needs across the country.

The marketing message was built around Aveeno making donations of trees to replant critical areas of the nation. Our film crew visited Florida, Michigan and California and met with members of the community, as well as state forest officials to learn about the importance of reforestation. In addition to video content, the microsite had multiple elements and functions to engage users.

The campaign fit well into the brand's national efforts, thus was extended from it's original 60-days to be live for over a year. The page generated sales and consumer loyalty.

Notable Mention

Coincidently also worked on Aveeno's 'Be An Active Natural' campaign while volunteering with Surfrider Foundation. Coordinated 40+ volunteers and scheduling for an Ocean Friendly Gardens workshop co-sponsored by Elle Magazine. This event was filmed and used as footage for introduction to the brand's social content strategy.
