Product Development for Expanding User-base
Facilitated second phase product rebuild of industry leading mortgage loan tool LoanSafe Connect, which helps identify fraud when approving lender loans. This phase included learning about the needs of executives and middle management for tool customers at enterprise organizations. The goal was to develop product strategy then join software team to build validated product features that align with the specific workflows of this user-base.
The research team discovered an opportunity to add reporting tools which would utilize existing data built in with the first phase of the product rebuild. This was tested with users and added to the backlog for agile development of the growing product. The reporting features we developed were greenfield for CoreLogic but because we were building within an existing design system much of the UI was predetermined.
Update:
As a result of the product strategy developed on this project, LoanSafe Connect saw a 25% increase in sales during the six months following release of these new features plus they remain a key selling point today. Additionally, the design patterns created for these reporting tools were adapted by the company's design system and later implemented for other products in the family.
