Rebranding of 'Product & Creative' Event Series

In an effort to reach the tech community in Santa Monica and Los Angeles an event series was created called Product Mashup, with the focus of bringing two people from differing industries together and compare similarities in their respective creative process. Each talk was followed by a guided Q&A from the audience.

Initially tasked to develop marketing collateral including redesign of website and establishing identity. Then translating brand elements across all collateral, social media and third party tools. Also, collaborated in planning and hosting of monthly events including RSVP management and outreach.

Responsive Website Build

Developed custom responsive website using the Squarespace platform then trained team on using the admin for updates.

Rebranded digital channels and partnered with local experts for series planning.

 
 

Planning Strategy

To grow the event series we led internal brainstorms and retrospectives to gain insight and develop concepts for the planning.

Each event paired up two creative professionals in a discussion about the similarities of their respective creative process from opposing industries, plus Q&A.

Mailing List Outreach

Using MailChimp we grew and maintained a newsletter mailing list of people in the tech community interested in product, design and software development. 

 

RSVP Management

We managed RSVPs through Eventbrite and were able to use their dashboard with door staff.

 

Social Outreach

To establish and maintain a community connection we created social channels including Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook.

Each mashup was video recorded and posted on the website blog along with a photo gallery which was sent to the mailing list.
