Lead User Interface Designer

Legal Education Platform Beta Launch

Worked alongside founders of tech educational startup on the launch of their Beta product experience. This content platform for legal professionals was developed out of the need for knowledge of basic office skills among Jr. Attorneys.

Led all project management for design and build of product beta user experience and visual design. Took an iterative approach by including founders in collaborative work sessions to gain direct feedback through phased delivery.

Worked remotely with founders in partnership with a NYC based web development consultancy and utilized tools such as Basecamp and InVision for project planning, communication and transparency.

Update:

Before building their full product the Hotshot team held usability sessions to inform future strategy. This is what they had to say, "In other news, we’ve just completed user testing and our current site got very high marks for website design. 99% rated it Good or Excellent for website design and ease of use – so thank you!"

Validated Problem Space

Junior Attorneys were graduating law school without basic office skills, such as knowledge of Excel and paralegal level understanding of the industry.

This opportunity led two experienced lawyers to leave their firms and launch a startup tech education platform.

Discovery Research Phase

To ensure alignment on founder goals for their product launch, we had collaborative sessions for creative thinking.
